PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Major professional experience is as a solo practitioner immigration attorney from 1998 to the present.
- Familiar with all major types of immigration cases from family-based to employment-based to naturalization to asylum.
- Frequent appearances before the Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals.
- Successful outcomes in complex litigation before the federal circuit courts of appeal.
- Former volunteer case screener for the Board of Immigration Appeals pro bono program, which involved physically going to the Board and selecting cases to place with volunteer attorneys after reviewing the records of administrative proceedings.
- Former volunteer with the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) Military Assistance Program, providing immigration assistance to members of the military and their family members.
